It got so bad that his sister was genuinely worried for him. He held onto that belief in spite hearing from various sources that Carmella wasn’t real and was in fact a man. Tyray had deluded himself into believing that Carmella was real. Meisha had to tell him that no marriage was going ahead if he didn’t tell his family the complete truth.īack in the States, Tyray was himself finally realizing he’d been lied to. It made her feel like he was barely listening. He kept trying to laugh everything away while she was expressing serious concerns. He also has this nervous laugh which made confronting him rather difficult. Meisha flew all the way to Israel because she thought she would be welcomed into his life, but it seems he’s too cowardly to be honest with anyone. If the two sides ever met, the house of cards would come falling down. She didn’t know that he was lying to her about them and that he was lying to them about her. She wanted to hear stories about his childhood. He also didn’t tell Meisha that he was hiding this from them until she asked to meet them. It was one thing for him to deny her previous marriage only lying about her kids was a red flag that no good mother can ignore. They didn’t know she was married before or that she has two kids. Nicola let his family believe that Meisha was a virgin. Nicola hasn’t told his family that Meisha was a divorcee. He just wasn’t willing to be honest with either her or his family. Meisha visited him for that exact purpose and so now she realizes that Nicola wasn’t an honest person.
He was great right until she got to learn more about him. They fell asleep holding hands and Meisha comforted herself with the idea that Nicola was really a great guy. It was in two sperate beds, but he did it. He didn’t even mind sharing a room with her. It didn’t seem to be a problem with Nicola because he was willing to flirt with her. Only Meisha needn’t have worried about affection. She therefore used this trip to test out his boundaries.
